HOW TO MAKE
YOUR OWN FAN
Place the material of your choice with right side facing
down, on a flat surface (table) then
place the spokes on top of the fabric. The spokes should be evenly distributed as shown
in the picture. With a pencil, make a mark on the fabric where every spoke will be
glued. Now take the spokes away from the fabric. Using Elmer's
glue, put a little bit on the
fabric where you had marked previously, then take
the spokes and put them on top of the
fabric with the glue. Make
sure all the spokes have the same distance. Once this is completed
let it dry for about three
hours. After the glue is dry fold the fan, spoke by spoke and put a
rubber
band around the top
and another one around the bottom, this way the fan will close easily.
Leave it for couple hours before
using it. When not using it, you can put the rubber bands around it
until it takes shape. You may want to buy one inexpensive fan to see the finished product so you
can see how it is put together.
